Q. How do I register?

A. To guarantee your spot in the course, registration should be done in person at our office. Please contact us for an appointment to see the school and staff. You may then fill out an application and pay your registration fee and if desired, your course fee.

Note: payment of course fees must be completed before commencement but is not absolutely required on date of registration.

Q. If I come in to see the school do I have to sign up?

A. Not at all. In fact, we recommend that prior to registration, you come in to the school to look around, meet with the staff and then maybe even go away and think about the information you have received about us. This allows you to ensure that this school and it's services are right for you. There is ABSOLUTELY NO obligation to register for any of our courses until you ar satisfied that the services of this school fit your needs.

Q. Why should I choose Hawk Investigative Institute for my training?

A. In August 2007, the new Private Investigators and Security Guards Act, Bill C159, came into effect. It that professional training is now required to obtain a license as either a Private Investigator or Security Guard.

With the 30 years + of experience from each of our master instructors complemented by our supplemental resources, contacts and ever upgrading information, Hawk Investigative Institute will not only bring the subjects involved to life but give you a well rounded understanding of the private investigating and security industries.

In addition our small class size enables the instructors to give more one- on-one attention to students as needed and allows the students extra time to ask more questions to ensure the subject matter is completely clear before moving on to the next section.

Q. What is the job environment actually like for Private Investigators? I.e. what is the job potential?

A. With the four different areas of investigation, Corporate, Domestic, Criminal and Civil, the job placement in this industry is growing at a faster rate now than ever before. The clients of this industry are increasingly in need of reliable information provided by professionally- trained Private Investigators.

Q. After compeltion of the course can I contact staff for advice in the field or other related information?

A. Absolutely! we encourage our alumni to feel free to contact us at any time and/or come in and make use of our reference library.
